DCFS statistics 12.31.24
Restore was launched in St. Clair County in 2015.
In 2015, a random lunch meeting between our then Executive Director, Katie Myette, and our now Director of Trauma Informed Care, Ashley Bennett, resulted in a passion to see if Restore could duplicate what it was doing in Madison County in another county! It seemed God was up to something by bringing Katie and Ashley together and so Ashley was hired as our St. Clair County Director.
With just one partner church, The Journey Metro East, St. Clair County became the first county to replicate the work of Restore.
Today, there are 9 churches committed to serving children in foster care in St. Clair County.
