Restore was launched in Madison County in 2014.
In 2014, the Department of Children & Family Services approached Emmanuel Free Methodist Church (Alton) about a more intense partnership in Madison County. As they shared the overwhelming needs, it became clear that one church was not going to be able to do the work that needed to be done.
After much discussion, dreaming and prayer, we launched the first Restore Network county with four partner churches: Alton Mission, Community Christian Church, Emmanuel Free Methodist Church, and Lifehouse Church.
Today, there are 17 churches committed to serving children in foster care in Madison County.
